Our customer, Fleur, wanted a light, airy, and blissful master bedroom to come home to after a long day of work and evening classes. Our VA Designer helped bring this to life with a modern coastal design, using earth-toned furniture picks complemented with a mix of vibrant, metallic accessories that embody a seaside retreat. Perfect to drift away to a serene night’s sleep!

Cozy Cottage | Dining Room & Lounge

Tiffany described herself on our Style Quiz and Project Questionnaire as a “Vintage Vibe-ing Lover of All Things Thrifty”, and we thought: say no more. Our VA Designer created a cozy, charming, and inviting design-concept filled with textured woods in furnishing, brass lighting accents, and collectible crystal glassware that was perfect for hosting Tiffany’s large family. Sourcing items from vintage online marketplaces and selecting unique pieces that could be purchased from local thrift stores, Our VA Designer helped bring personality, character, and conversation-starters to every corner.

Teal & Tangerine Dream | Living Room

For these first-time home owners, a living room that “felt like home” was a big emphasis for them. Our VA Designer brought this to life with warm wood and neutral tones in the classic furnishings, balanced with a thoughtful teal & tangerine color scheme, a mix of earthy tones and metallics décor statement pieces, and cozy textures for relaxing together.

Tropical Oasis | Spa Reception Room

Package: VA Standard + Commercial Space Upgrade

Business Owner and #GirlBoss Nikita G. reached out to our team at Via Asha Design in the early months of 2020 COVID quarantine. Like many other small businesses, the sudden closures from COVID meant uncertainty and unprecedented hardships for her Brooklyn, NY based Spa (Joire’s Spa and Studio), but also brought to light the opportunity to use the downtime to redesign her Spa for a more luxury experience for clients to look forward to once NYC reopening began. Nikita wanted to transform her spa’s previously “glam hair salon area” into what she described as a luxury “Tropical Jungle Oasis” reception room.

Being that Joire’s Spa is a commercial space, our VA Design team used our expertise in both build and design to ensure the transformation considered the deconstruction of the old glam hair salon area, a new design that efficiently utilizes the space for ease of navigation for clients, and one that enhances the essence of the spa to optimize the client’s oasis experience upon entry. The “Tropical Jungle Oasis” reception room was brought to life using ample lush greenery (faux large plants for ease of maintenance and live smaller plants to promote clean oxygen for guests), neutral curved velvet furnishing for an inviting atmosphere, earthy wood accents and a soothing reflective large waterfall for an unforgettable and instgramamable experience that would have clients coming back again and again!

Afro Modern | Dining and Kitchen Area

Package: VA Standard + Open Floor Plan Upgrade

How much more exciting does it get than working on a design project for our very own cofounder, Oyin and her husband?! In their New York City apartment, to capture their West African heritage while balancing it with their modern city lives, we chose a design incorporating modern furnishing enriched with vibrant African flavour. We used an earthy colour palette, raw materials of natural woods, leathers, and brass to create a bit of drama, while still keeping a sleek, chic space for dining and convos over drinks. Tall (ceilings with pendant lighting) + Dark and Handsome (decor) = our kind of view!

Minimalist Monochrome | Bedroom

Package: VA Standard

When designing for minimalists, we like to think neutrals and monochrome. In this minimalist room for two, our VA Designer used monochromatic gray-tones throughout, from the Clare paint ‘penthouse’ grey walls to the plush grey bedding and bench to put the mind at ease. Earthy woods, greenery, and matte whites combined with the shades of grey allows for a refreshing first feel to the start of the day and a relaxing retreat after a long day.

Minimalist Marble | Bathroom

'Marvelous Minimalism’ was the theme for the owner of this Wimbledon townhome, and our VA Designer brought this to life, bringing nothing short of elegance into the design of her guest bathroom. Where quantity of items were limited, the bathroom came alive with texture layering - textured white marble walls and washbasin, contrasted by dark matte fixtures and accessories for a light and cool energy. We can guarantee never-ending 'spa days' for her guests to recharge their senses here!

Sleek & Serene | Bedroom

This urban south-London property was to be modernized without disrupting its key Victorian features – 3m+ high ceilings and tall bay windows with panelling. As a previous rental property, James was ready to move back in and make it his home again, emphasizing his desire for the space to incorporate both old and new features, lots of storage, and SMART home connectivity. Our VA designer achieved this with a fresh and modern design using white walls that still brought out the elegance of the original panelling, white floor-to-ceiling fitted furniture for ample storage and an integrated mini-office nook, complemented by stronger tones in the freestanding furniture and decor for a masculine theme. Large bay windows were chosen to elongate and brighten the space with natural light, while SMART colour-changing lighting was used throughout to create the desired atmosphere and a true escape for our deserving dweller.

Scandi-Style | Kitchen

This open-plan kitchen area was part of a full property refurb for our customer who was looking for a clean, simple, and bright scandi-fresh home. Light, in all its forms, was a key part of this project, with the ideal design needing to be quiet enough to share the open space kitchen and breakfast bar with a living area, while still oozing its own sophistication. Our VA Designer brought this to life with a bright-white integrated kitchen design, modern, wood and earth-tone decor accents, lots of greenery, and Smart home technologies that created a connective and ambient space, always set to the perfect mood.
